"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson

Northern Arizona University
is my alma mater.

I had my choice of schools and chose
NAU for many reasons. One of them
was that I believed it had the most
beautiful campus of all Arizona schools.

NAU is located in Flagstaff, AZ with an
undergrad population around 30,000 students.
Flagstaff is near 7000ft in elevation and is
one of the most beautiful places in the
United States.
If you like scenic views and snow capped mountains,
fresh air, and pristine lakes; then a school
like NAU would be an excellent choice for you!
Keep in mind....it can and does snow nearly
6 months out of the year.

Check it out!

My favorite teacher of all time
has inspired more minds than one
can count in many lifetimes.
His energy and passion for education
and his enthusiasm for sharing his
knowledge has inspired me on
so many levels!

I am, of course, speaking about
the amazing Dr. Dave Pierotti !
His way of teaching through
contagious enthusiasm has permeated
into my classroom. Thank you
Dr. Pierotti for inspiring me to become
an exciting and dynamic educator
such as yourself.

I originally began as a Zoology
major and resisted taking any
Botany courses. That is until
I met Prof. Ayers and took
her Native Plants of AZ
course.
Being outside and learning
about the plants in the field
really opened my eyes
to plants. I now have a
much deeper respect for plants
even though I am still
completely an "animal guy".
Thank You Dr. Ayers for showing
me that plants are as amazing
as animals!

If the aroma of pine trees
and crisp, clean air has
ever made you feel
more alive, then NAU
would be the perfect choice
to continue your education!
