"Man is the cruelest animal." - Friedrich Nietzsche

AVATAR is a movie that has opened the eyes of many. I have been active in my community as well as regionally to raise the level of awareness for climate compassion. The movie, Avatar, has struck a chord deep within me and the hearts of millions across the globe.
The hour is at hand and it is time. Humans have created a life dependent on fossil fuels; and it is through our relentless consumption of these natural, non-renewable resources that one of the youngest living organisms on our planet, humans, has shifted the very nature of the Biosphere. Sadly, over 50,000 species of living organisms on our planet enter extinction each year mainly due to our actions. The worst part of it is, these organisms don't have a means of communicating their frustrations with humans, the primary cause to their demise!
As a biologist and lover of all organisms on this planet I feel an intense state of sorrow for the loss of our "neighbors of existence", the living plants and animals that surround us. I have made a pledge to do all that I can do to preserve all life on this planet in any way possible. I ask that you join me by choosing to do as much as you can. It can start right now ... as soon as you have read this statement you can navigate this website and join the millions of others willing to "save the planet". Make the choice ... choose life.
Hopefully by now we all know that
the Earth is in serious trouble!
Some call it Global Warming but,
I prefer to call it a Climate Crisis.
There is more at stake here than our air
quality or whether or not we lose a couple
beaches here and there.
Every facet of our planet is changing as a result
of human ego and carelessness. Animals are going
extinct at a rate 1000 times the average
and it is our actions that are causing this tragedy.
This is not the only problem.
Humans are doing this and it is only humans
that are capable of doing something about it!
This page will continue to grow but,
for now there are a couple of links for you
to visit and learn about our Crisis.
