Advanced Placement Biology is a one year, rigorous biology course that is designed to give you a "head start" in your college career by exposing you to biological concepts that first year college students encounter. It has been missing at Indio High for some time now, but returned last year! This year we have 26 brave explorers that will venture into the most rigorous biology course offered in high schools across America!
Those enrolled will check here for their weekly schedule and be able to communicate with the instructor, Mr. Tate, over the summer months through his blogs. AP Biology Blog
Regarding the course, it might very well be the toughest class you take in high school. The knowledge and material that is covered will place you in the top 1/2 of 1% of the most learned people in America. Be ready for a difficult, challenging, and immensely rewarding educational experience, hopefully, capped by a 'field trip' to the jungles of Costa Rica!
